Welcome to FTE!

C70 = C700 gas

W = 361 2V or 4V, both "Low propane gas - D.S.O"

V = Kentucky Truck Plant

C16650 = 1976 numerical series, April 1976 production

As OEM, it was a Domestic Special Order, and ran on propane, and if I'm reading it right, had low compression to boot. (lower than the standard low compression)

Is this thing converted back to gas? Have you checked for spark, gas, air, vacuum leaks, timing, anything change recently?

Yes it is running on gas. I just bought it, Running great. Drove about 100miles and died right after filling up. Treated the fuel with seafoam. Replaced Coil and Battery. Fixed a leak on the 4100 Carb it has. I see no indications it was once running on propane..

As an OEM gas truck, it would have had a Holley carb. As a propane truck, probably a propane carb.

Spark, gas? Fuel tank clean? Fuel filter in place?

It has a 4100 autolite carb. From what I understand they came stock on alot of these motors. Today I'm going to be tearing into the truck again.
Replacing the fouled plugs. New wires. New distributor cap, rotor and points.
