First, mods, if there is a better place for this that can get more answers, please move, as I am unsure where best to post this question.
I am looking to get a Bi-directional scan tool so I can do some transmission work on our Focus, as well as do diagnostics on our older cars like our MKS and Panther. We are also getting a Rav 4 for my daughter so would be nice to use it on that as well. I do have Forescan, but I don't think it is capable of training the TCM on the Focus, or other in depth PCM work that a BD can do.
I see a few from Autel for under $600 that are bi-directional, but unsure if they will do what I need.
