2023 Center Console Upgrade
This might be a little premature unless someone has part number insight as it relates to 2022 F150 Center consoles compared to 2023 F250+. Many of up XL owners have acquired take out center consoles and and installed them with good success in 2017 - 2022. Back then the F150 consoles could be used with minimal adjustments. Does anyone have any insight if the 2022 F150 consoles will again fit the 2023 SD like the previous generation.
We have several 2023 XLs on order and want to be prepared with consoles if that is an option. Waiting for 2023 SD take outs is probably 6 months out at least. F150s take outs are available now.

I did this on my 23XL that is used by my survey crew.
it is not a quick or direct swap. Lots of plastic has to be trimmed to make things fit together. Wrote a little bit about it on my build thread. refer to post #52 and #66

We ended up getting a F150 Console (with the steering wheel shifter) off Ebay. Like mentioned above, you can make them work. You have to trim plastic to slide it in far enough and also trim the outer finish trim pieces between console and dash asumming you ordered pieces for the 150.
End up doing this on three 2024 XL trucks.
