Good morning, weird issue with my 2019 F350 6.7. Two years ago I had the batteries replaced with X2's because of the OEM Battery leaking issue. I noticed last weekend after truck sat all week that a few of my gauges changed positions in the cluster. Put them back where I had them, no problem. Drove the truck sunday and it sat until this morning. WHen I hit my push button start it started right up but seemed a little weak and my gauges were all back wonky again. I checked the battery connections and they are nice and tight. I don't see any lights on that would cause a parasitic drain. I haven't pulled up the battery volt charge PID on my moitor but I can do that today. THis past week and this week is the first colder nights into the 40's. Never did this when it was warmer. Ideas? Thanks!
Yes it could be one or both batteries, or it could be the alternator, or alternators, or a parasitic draw.
What is the battery voltage with the engine off and at idle?
I'm going to check the voltage at idle at lunch today. I didn't even think to bring it up on my edge monitor and check it. I'm going to have the batteries tested at the batteries plus this weekend. THese batteries come with a free 4 year replacementr, maybe just got a bad one.
Tagging along for results as I just noticed same this past weekend. ie. clock reverting to 24 hr vs 12 hr
Just as an update, called Battery+ where I got them and they are on back order for about 30 days. Said there have been lots of returns on the X2's that people had installed couple years ago. Maybe they had a bad batch.
Ok couple of updates ! My alternator is charging at 14.7/14.8 volts. It reads That at idle and going down the road.
Another observation. After I locked my truck in the dark I noticed the little light in the hide away cubby center consul stayed on AND the drivers door lock/unlock buttons stayed lit up . This was after the truck had been locked 20 min or so . Weird thing is …. As soon as I grabbed the passenger door handle and pulled it to make sure it was locked , the lights went off! What would cause that !?!

Odd that you mention the light in the center console. Last night I noticed that light was still on several minutes after I turn off the truck. All other interior lights go off within a few seconds of turning off the truck. After messing around for a while trying to figure it out, went back to the truck to look inside (without opening any doors or pulling on a door handle) and the console light had finally gone out. Don't know if it staying on a long time is normal. I do know that my bumper-to-bumper warranty is up in 2 days.

It probably is normal and I just never even noticed since I didn't have a reason to. I wonder if its possible to disconnect the negative battery cables and let everything reset? The center console light and the lock/unlock buttons were lit up on mine. I left it alone and checked again this morning snd they were all off still. I didn't drive it to work today but might fire it up later. My bumper to bumper is expired by a month but I have an exteneded warranty if it needs it to 60K. Mine has 34k on it now.

BCM times it out, I am pretty sure it's normal. You could stand there and time it and see if it's consistent. I think you will see that it is.
Alternator seems to be enthusiastic. I think your suspicions surrounding a bad battery is correct.
Yea I think your right. Alternator is doing a heck of a job trying to keep it charged. Now I have some decisions to make. I can't get the free replacment X2's until December but don't want this battery to get me stranded. Ugjh.

Get the batteries LOAD tested before you lose your head over the deal, worry when you have something to for sure worry about.
