EGR Delete
I have a 95 F150 4X4 auto with the 351 engine. On previous older cars I have deleted the EGR system only to find that it causes the engine to ping, because it raises the combustion area temperature.
Is this the case with the engine I have in ky truck? The EFR light is on and it is not functioning. The engine does ping and the power is not what it should be. Looking for advise to delete the EGR or fix it. No smog check needed where I am so a check engine light is not a problem.
