Anyones remote keyless entry only work sporadically?
2022 F-250
With key in pocket, doors only want to lock/unlock about 50% of the time when touching the door handle(s). Driving me crazy; and doesn't seem to matter if key fob is in pocket next to cell phone or anything like that.

Zero issues with range/reliability when simply using the lock/unlock/remote smart features directly from the fob itself though.
Issue is only with the remote keyless entry.

Are you talking about Fordpass on your phone? That will sometimes not work depending on where your vehicle is, because it depends on reception to cell towers.

The OP mentioned touching the door handle, so he must be discussing the keyless proximity lock/unlock feature which FordPass cannot perform.

While you are changing the battery clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser and make sure they are making good contact with the battery. You might need to carefully bend them a little.

Mine does this too. When it is particularly cold or the sun has been on it for a prolonged period of time. I can hear the door attempt to unlock but it sounds a little different and stays locked until I use the key from the fob. I have called my dealer to try to find a fix but they hadn't heard of that problem before. I'll try to update if I find a solution
