I ordered a 22 F350 Platinum 11/21 and saw the window sticker last Friday for the first time! I noticed that the puck system and the adaptive steering are both missing!!!!
i have contacted my dealer and told him that both of those options are not negotiable as being not on the truck!
My question is at what point is it not possible for Ford to include it on the build?
Why are they being left off without any notification????
I think the window sticker is generated at around production time. Well past any window to make changes. You should have been notified prior to any options being removed. Are you 100% sure those options were included at the time of order?
The 5th wheel prep can be added by the dealership after delivery. Maybe they would be willing to eat the labor cost.

Geez
Where have you been hiding? These things have been happening to many orders for quite a while now, ford doesn't have the items available so they leave them off or don't build the truck at all.
Cancel the order, the dealer will be fine with it because he will be able to easily sell the truck to someone else.
Then order a new 2023 and wait another year and see if you get the truck you want then.
This is nothing new, and yes, it is a sucky deal.

yes sir it can but the adaptive steering can’t!
sure I can order a 23 and wait but not for $10k more!!!!!
I'm only aware of 1 item that was a mandatory delete on some trucks for a certain period of time, that was the multi contour seats. It was however announced by Ford and notice was supposed to be given to the buyer.
I have not heard of any other items being deleted in that way. There have certainly been parts constraints, with the possibility that those parts would delay scheduling. But they weren't deleted without owners consent. I have not read of many orders experiencing what you have, although there have been cases of dealers not inputting orders correctly (missing options).

Robert,
I understand your frustration. My window sticker populated last week on my F-450 I ordered last March There was a line item with a $50 credit removing the Advanced Security Pack.
My 350 that I ordered last year in December is scheduled for production 11/14. I don’t have the window sticker for that truck yet and I’m nervous. Back in April dealer called and said Ford requested I remove the 5th wheel prep to speed up production. Still hasn’t been produced.
The other 450 I ordered in January won’t be built and Dealer had me order a 23 for about $7,500 more.

Any idea what the Advanced Security Pack is? Does that mean it won't have any perimeter or interior motion sensing alarm?
Edit- Reading through old threads from 2017 and 2018 it sounds like the Advanced Security Pack used to be an option on low trim Super Duty's (standard on most) and consisted of the inclination and interior motion sensors.
I'm curious as to why Ford didn't have the 5th wheel prep as one of the items that would delay the 2023 orders. I know for sure I wouldn't order a truck without and if it doesn't come with it Ford can keep it. May as well order a Prius to tow my 5th wheel.

It’s the tilt sensor if someone is trying to tow it away and interior intrusion (motion) sensor. Not a big deal where we keep the truck. It’s kept in a rural gated community on our 3 acre lot 4 miles in from the guard gate. We rarely lock doors around here.
At this point, Ford is just trying to build trucks. They will build as close to what you ordered with the parts they have available. If the deletions are to great for the person who ordered it, then the truck will go to the dealer who has a list of buyers waiting.
...and as far as I can tell, Adaptive Steering is no longer an option for 2023.
I hate my adaptive steering in my 2019. Miss the steering in my previous f350's. I wonder if they put it as standard now and just don't mention it? I hope they didn't can't stand it.

I read recently on one of these forums that Ford has had problems with that “adaptive steering”.
Not standard or even an option on ‘23 SuperDuty’s.

I haven't had fault codes or control issues so it's not broken like some here think it just harder to drive/steer it then previous years. And don't notice the benefit due to it's friggin hard while doing it. Ha. And I owned 5 F350's since 2001. Last one 2016. Makes a long day longer. I'm not 25 yrs old and strong as an Ox like the ones who love it seem to be.
