Both those controls have cables attached, I think? If they are otherwise working ok, just get some replacement ***** of some kind, pry out the white inserts, letter them and install.
I see that control come up on eBay occasionally, never took much notice since its incorrect for my year, but could imagine they’d be in similar condition to yours.
Those ***** were used from 1961-1966 in our era, but only with the fresh air heater. If you have the (factory) bracket below the dash for those two ***** and cables, then those would have been the ***** on a given truck. I've saved some used ones in various condition and also found a couple of new ones but that was some time ago now.
