What year is this heater please?

Hi, I am trying to get my heater working properly and need to replace the demist vents and hoses on my 56.
This is the heater installed and I need to know what it is from so I can get the adapter part that links the hoses to the heater unit.
The diagrams of 56 heaters I can find show two circular takeoffs on top of the unit for the hoses so i;m guessing this one is from something else.
I can always fab something but I am pressed for time so would rat

her buy one if I can.
Many thanks,

Can you show us a picture of the whole heater? From what you've shown us, I think, I think, the two round defroster vents should attach to the rectangular opening. I am writing this away from home so I can't go look at mine.

Here is what you're missing. But I'm not sure if this part is from your type of heater.

it looks like someone cut out the round defroster tubes and put that square piece in.

Are 56 defroster tubes different than 54 and 55?

The only diagrams I have seen show some sort of circular outlet on the top for the tubes so they just push on. There are variations over the years I think but all have the same principle.
