Body Side Molding information

I anyone familiar with body side molding for F250's? I am looking at SuperCab Chrome Line Painted Body Side Molding from a comany called "SportWing"... $190 with free delivery..

I am trying to reduce the door dings. I put OEM side molding on my wife's CRV and it has made a huge difference.

I can see doing that with a car but the truck is up much higher and the step/running board would protruded further out than the door anyway, basically negating the need for a protective molding on the door, maybe I'm wrong?

Pretty nice looking especially that they provide to match paint color. I agree with Bruce though, unless you have a 2wd SD, most car doors will hit lower than this molding, no?

I'm thinking this style made provide better protection for your use case. Cheaper too.

So we should disregard every other 3/4 and one ton truck out there?

There's a lot of contractors out there driving trucks that aren't theirs and don't give two craps about them either

I'm under the impression that folks here have already disregarded the competition. 🤣

No and after typing that out I thought about that but so be it. If it is what you want I'm not saying you shouldn't, just trying to bring up some things to think about... I will refrain in the future.

Hadn't thought about that but could be useful. At least on my truck a shopping cart being pushed carelessly would go right into the door and not be stopped by the running boards, this would prevent that.
