Replacing heater core, need help with hoses routing...
Pickup is F250 light duty 99 4,6 L engine. I'm in the process of replacing the heater core. In June I bypassed the core because of leaking. Did photo of hose routing but lost it. Can someone tell me if the longer hose that I marked with red arrow two times go to driver or passenger side pipe at heather core?
Project is done. I did it second time. First was in 2010. Used same directions as before. I think it is sticked here on forum. As I did cut heater hoses before to make bypass, I had to use Dorman adapters https://www.autozone.com/cooling-hea...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
Didn't have much capability to swing dash. It went so far as in picture. But it was enough to have space to pull out the heater core. I do not understand why everyone talks about cutting heater pipes. I just broke plastic wings of quick connectors and pulled core out without any problem.
Edit now like 10 seconds after start driving ABS light turn on. Really no big deal as I do not have properly working ABS anyway. Probably turn on because I did clean ground at passengers' side down where is plastic.

Same every connector was packet with dielectric grease. At top of this I'm now into spraying electrical harnesses with CRC hd when connections are made. Imagine if I would have to disconnect those 10 or so harnesses first time in 23 years without any grease at it.
To help protect the connections from moisture and salt, coat the pins with dielectric grease. Use a toothpick to dab the grease on the pins and receivers of the connectors.
(Then when the connector is closed)
Inhibiting Spray
With everything plugged in, give the connector housings a light spray of a corrosion-inhibiting spray such as CRC Marine Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor to help repel any water that finds its way to the back of your electronics.
Edit. Definitely every harness that is lower in engine bay will get CRC now. I actually did think about the back of connectors. Cannot rich housing there as wire are at way to put Dielectric Grease. But I can use CRC HD there.
One month later the brake switch connector that is below steering disconnected itself. No big deal just if you drop steering wheel double check every connector that is below it when putting things back.
