I have the steering box installed. It is flush with frame with no spacers, but the rag joint still seems slightly off to the right. I see no way to move it any farther to the left. How far off is too far?
Mine came with some bushings to put over the mounting bolts between the box & frame. They didn't look near stout enough for me, so I built a 3/4" solid metal plate spacer. Mine aligns almost perfectly with the steering shaft.

The box needs to angled to the left so spacing could only be in one or to bolts to get that angle. It has no spacers now and still not far enough in that direction.

They're a little dark, but the spacer plate actually looks to be about 1/2" thick & centers the column perfectly in the factory hole. My apologies about the clutch - I run a C6, so hadn't even thought about clearance issues with the slave cylinder.
