Reuse New Core Plug
I'm new to engine building. I was placing new plugs and I hit one a little too far in..... so I drove it through and put it back in. I kmow that isn't ideal. Is there anyway to test that it will still work. It seated just as tight as the others. I put permatex no 1 on it. Has anyone ever done this before?

Yeah I think I'm gonna leave it. It is high walled and sits tight. I have a socket that fits in the plugs when they are out but now when they are installed (so that is my test for myself that it seated the same). I went to the auto parts store to just replace it but the replacement is thin and has low walls (and made in China). I feel like it is more likely to leak than the old (new one).
