The intent is not to "build" another Tremor. I have a 21 Tremor. The "Tremor" wheels and Duratracs ( with the 3PMSF ) are an upgrade from the 20" Michelins A/T that came with the 22 FX4 especially during winter snowmobile season. PLUS the Tremor wheels are probably the best looking stock Ford wheel ever made and better looking than 99.99% of aftermarket wheels also even though I do like the 20's that came on the truck.
I've never liked running boards on a truck until the Tremor and was not a fan of the stock lower running boards that came on the FX4 so... ( see picture ).
First order of business was to get rid of the DISGUSTING "level-look" of the truck and added new 3" blocks and u-bolts from the 2019 long box. The stance is literally within
1/4 to 1/2" difference of the Tremor as the FX4 has the 5900lb springs in the front.
Great looking truck. I've got a long box as well and love it.
I don't mind the level look, but would hate to level my truck and have it pointing sky high as soon as I hook up a load. As it is now (stock), when loaded, it rides level.
Nice looking truck. I wish Ford had made a LB Tremor. I had to have a LB for hauling and wanted the LSD that you can get with the Tremor package. I'm just going to have to take my LB somewhere and get a Detroit TrueTrac installed up front I guess.
