Help, 7.3 throttle sticks
Hello y'all. I bought a 1996 f250 7.3 zf5 recently. Since I got it it's had a problem with the throttle sticking that I can't track down. The pedal doesn't physically stick, what happens is when I'm accelerating fairly hard like to pass or getting on the highway above around 2000rpm and I go to up shift (manual trans) the rpm continue to rise for an extra say 500rpm before it falls back down. Yes my foots off the throttle. Doesn't noticably do it during normal driving and it does hang the rpm. Just increases and falls back down. Anyone have any ideas.
