Fuel guage
This is more of a "please tell me I don't have to drop the tank AGAIN!" A couple of months ago, I put in a brand new fuel pump from Autozone. After being just fine since, it started a week ago pegging the guage out as full. I really hate pulling that tank because of those 2 hoses that connect to the filler neck. I was parked on an incline, rear end down at work yesterday. After work, the guage read 3/4 ,which would be about right, when I turned the key to the on position without starting. Then I back out and went forward and saw the guage peg full again. Any ideas where I don't have to pull the tank again?
I replaced the fuel pump thinking it was bad back then but it was the beloved relay. Gas wise, the last few tanks have been premium. Wonder how long that grade gas sits in the ground these days?

I have an ‘04 X with a 6.0. Mine would go to empty and stay there until the next time I started it. Then it may go to half then full and back to empty. I pulled the instrument cluster out. I removed all the gauges and applied a light coating of dielectric grease to the gauge pins. Have not had any more gauge issues.
