Ok so ended up breaking the same tang in the same spot on the new light I just got in the mail today. LOL Apparently it is the process of removing the bulb that bends it out. When you go to to bend it back so the bulb fits snug, it breaks. No need to fear though bc I was able to solder it back on and it works fine. I went ahead did both of the lights so now I have a back up if the solder breaks. I doubt it will though bc I can put a decent amount of pressure on it and it’s pretty solid. Not the prettiest job, but it was hard to get in that tight area. The bulb is nice and snug too.
