I am a new owner of a 03 EB Expedition and a new member of the forum and I am having a great time with both the truck and the forum. I have a couple of questions for the group.
I am wondering if anyone has figured out a way to keep the AC recirculation button on after an engine shutdown and startup cycle.
My wife’s truck has a radio with a speed sensitive volume adjustment; I don’t believe I have this option on my Expy but I am wondering if it was offered as an option at all?
Thanks to everyone for all the great information on the forum. I have had good luck with my Expy so far (while knocking on my head) but just to let everyone know I have been having some of the same problems as others. The dreaded passenger side rattle, but mine seems to be coming from the door, not the glove box area, and the break dust is making me mad problem . The good news is I did get an alloy spare
My AC recirculate always comes on when we start the truck.
I'm not really sure what you mean. My AC is automatically turned on when we put it to the recirculate position but then again, I have the manual HVAC controls. I assume yours is the automatic?
Not heard of speed sensitive volume control in the Expedition. I had it in an old Maxima. Never really worked well enough for me though...
There are TSBs concerning the door rattles. See your dealer.
And the brake dust...seems like we're all waiting till December for new pads.
Welcome again & hope that you stick around and continue to contribute!
Sorry I should have been more specific; yes I have the duel controls on my AC. I will check on the TBS for the door rattles. Thanks for the help.
Do you ( or anyone) know the secret to pulling down the EOG off of BigMattXXL’s profile? It tells me I have to post 25 times before I gain access to it. It may take me a year to have 25 posts
