Hello, I am slithering over here to this forum from the Expy forum since my wife has finally seen the light about needing a real truck and I traded the Expy in on a new 06 FX4 5.4L. By the way, I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! I have read alot about the Autosprings and Daystar levelers on here. Has anyone looked at NCD Customs Billet solid aluminum levelers? Sound a whole lot like the Autosprings and are cheaper at 90.00 + free shipping on eBay. What is the concensus on the the material used for the levelers? Do you like Steel, Aluminum, or poly better? Thanks for the input. goldendually
I know the Autosprings have the 1/4 offset so there isn't as much pressure on the joint. I love mine and I know ALOT of people on here use the autosprings. I don't know if the billet spacers have that offset in them. If they don't i'd stay away from them.

Reason: adding
i just put on the 2.5" autospring this past weekend and i have nothing bad to say about it. easy to install, no change in ride, looks great and was only about 80 bucks.i think its the best mod for the price.
The only issue with those spacers would be the lack of an offset. Due to customer feedback of the upper control arm rubbing the spring at full suspension droop, autospring added a 1/4 offset in their spacer to prevent the rubbing. I personally would go with autospring, thats what will go on mine if I ever get to it. They did just give us some new prices for 07, up to $93 shipped from $83.
