2015 hydroboost on a 2000?

I have put two motorcraft brake master cylinders on my project truck c0wb0y's new addition to the herd of ferds!!! - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com) . The second one is now leaking with less than 300 hundred miles on it. I have a buddy willing to give me the hydroboost unit and brake MC and lines off a wrecked low mileage 2015 f550. Is this more work than it's worth is what I need to know? Thanks

I think I remember seeing something about the lines are on opposite side then our year trucks. Also they are a different bore for bigger brakes on newer trucks.

That would likely depend mostly on your definition of the work and it's worth. That said I pulled them up on Rockauto for a look see and they look pretty close as far as orientation. If the bolts patterns are a match then it may be fairly painless.

The lines are different on the master cylinder and the bore is bigger (on the MC) starting in 2005. My guess is the hydroboost units are nearly identical, if not identical.
