Messed up using the scanner tool

2002 7.3L Excursion with the Innova 5610 scanner.

I wanted to check "live Data" and did that.
then I "forgot" the engine is running and started messing with other stuff.

Suddenly, the engine started loping, so I killed it, restarted and went for a long drive pushing the pedal up to 2200 to make it shift right. The loping stopped, but I have a code now,

"ICP too low/high"

I did that once before and was able to clear it off, and did fine for several thousand miles, until today, when I "induced it"

I have forgotten how to clear it.... did the "Clear all DTCs" but it is still there.

What do I do now?

I ordered the Bluetooth tool, it should arrive this coming Saturday, the one that works with USB and Windows laptop.

Hopefully, that will resolve the issue. I have not started the truck since I posted this....
Have a doctor's appointment at 1 pm today, that truck better start and run okay, even with the code showing. Temperature dropped to 21*F last night, should be up to 50*F by the time I need to start it up.
I have not found the A/C power cord to the block heater yet, need to put the truck where I can crawl under it .... my parking spot is in dirt right now....

im curious to know what happened the scanner usually cannot have an affect on a vehicle after being disconnected, if it still runs rough try disconnecting the icp sensor, it will go into default values and if the sensor is the problem the trucks idle will clear up, my block heater plug was located near the front tow hooks but behind the bumper

the scanner is a brand new Innova 5610 and it will read Live Data on the 7.3L at highway speed.
when I tried that the first time, I was driving down the road going home to OkieLand from Utah, Live Data showed me Turbo Boost Pressure, RPM, and something else, forget now. Did not set any codes, as the RPMs were up high enough to keep the injectors happy.

When I asked for "Live Data", the same exact thing happened at speed, the engine cut out twice about 3 seconds apart and then kept going. The cruise was set at 65 mph, when the Live Data request hit the ECM, the cruise unlocked, scared me at first, then hit Resume and all was okay.

I watched that Live Data stream for six hours, before I shut down for the day.

This time, the engine was idling, and then quit twice, resumed idling, and the Engine Light showed up on the dash..... looked at DTCs and saw ICP pressure Hi/Low code. I asked the Innova 5610 to clear the codes, had no effect, even though it can read some of the diag stuff.

I drove it to town today, it runs just fine, like normal.....
when the ELM code reader comes in, I will use the Windows Laptop and ForScan to clear the codes.

I was very disappointed with the 5610 when I found out that it can "just barely" read codes on the 7.3L and will give only 3 readings in Live Data mode. It will be fine for gas engine cars, it is the 3rd Innova that I own, the others are older by a lot.
