My 62 Uni left door doesn’t have an exterior lock cylinder. I do not want to add an exterior lock cylinder.
I want to put an actuator in the door that works off of a FOB. I do not want or need an interior electric door lock switch.
I do not want cheap Amazon products.
Any ideas? 😬
Hate to break it to you, but the “Dakota Digital” is just a rebranded version of the Amazon ones. These actuators are incredibly simple, and there is not much force at all that goes through the rods to lock the doors so as long as you have a good ground and 12v connection any of them will work.
I have used the Amazon ones myself. Other friends who have built show winning cars and trucks have also used the Amazon ones, it isn’t a part that you need to pay a lot for. Just food for thought, you may disagree.
