Howdy ford enthusiasts! So I got a 1995 f150 with the 5.0 302 and it blew up this past Friday, I already got a junkyard engine I'm confident in, it's the same year 5.0 302 I was just wondering if y'all have any tips tricks or advice you'd like to share, as I've no idea the intracaces of a engine swap and would appreciate any and all advice.
Pull the upper intakes off both engines.
Do not remove any engine wiring from your truck, unplug everything on the existing engine and lay the whole harness asside over the drivers side inner fender.
Unless you are 1000% certain that both engines had the same transmission do not use the flexplate that comes with the donor, remove the one from your truck and transfer it to the donor.
If you follow that this should be an easy swap.
