We have three trucks with the AstroStart two way, one mile range system. Over a decade old and have never had an issue.

This looks to be the replacement. I wouldn't settle for anything less.

I bought a compustar unit from Best Buy and had them install it on my 2004 6.0. It’s worked flawlessly so far.

I listened to the guys in Alaska on the forum and had AstroStart installed on my 03 by a dealer in Michigan back in 2005 I would guess. Never had a problem and use it to this day I would guess the systems offered now are far more advanced from what I have and you can add a module to use your Cell phone from what I understand. Best thing, it is not invasive when installed, only a few wire taps, other systems hack into the wiring harness, watch what you do, price should never be a factor, quality is what you want to achieve. I could start my truck in the Winter from my work station or set the system to activate when a temperature was reached, I used that feature when temps dipped below Zero.

I received solid advice and have been very happy.
