One time 2-3 hard shift
2015 F-250 6.2 111,325 miles.
Not towing anything.
Having a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd only the first time through the gears, after the first time through nice smooth shifting through all gears?
Is this an indicator of a problem or just a quirk?

Not an answer but mine does the same thing. Since other than that it works so well, I hesitate to try any updating or having someone look at it. My truck sets in storage most of the time, sometimes for a year so I just figure it's trying to get its legs under it. Mines a 12 with around 140,000
