ISO a transfer case shift boot trim ring. I bought one for the transmission from Dennis Carpenter but I cannot find one anywhere for the transfer case. Does anyone know the part number for it? If I had the part number I could check with my local Ford parts guy... he’ nice about searching for obsolete parts for me. About to put t w carpet in and want it to look nice.
Hard to find now days, for sure. I use to have a box of them, not any more. Not a common repop item AFAIK. The round one for the 4spd is easy to locate.
Also remembered to say the boot goes against the metal floor and up thru the carpet. The boot and metal molded in part does not go on top of the carpet. And add some RTV before you screw down the boot to seal the cab floor.
