E4OD transmission interchange

Hi Group. I have a 1991 F-150 with a worn out E4OD trans. I have located a 1995 E4OD trans and I understand changes were made that make it a better transmission. Besides the solenoid pack needing to be changed, what other obstacles will I face if I try to install the 95 trans into the 91? Thanks for the help!!

Possibly the MLPS (also called the TRS.) It is the sensor on the driver's side of the transmission where the shift cable attaches. I can't remember the year that it changed. If the connector on your wiring harness fits, it will work. When the sensor changed the connector also changed. Other than that it is plug and play.
