IDI E4OD and DI E4OD

Are these trannys the same? I have a '93 IDI E4OD waiting for me but I'm not sure if it will work in my '95 F2504x4 PSD. HELP!!!

They will bolt up but the electronics are different IIRC. Someone with more trans knowledge will be along to help.

The solenoid pack connector may be different and the guts won't hold as much power.

Is it a 4X4? If not tailshaft also needs to be replaced.
You will need your TC and multifunction sw setup.
Hope it has some upgrades in the trans.
