Corner lamp nut plate

Is there a part number for the nut plate that holds the corner lamp lower screw to the headlight bucket/header?

Are you talking about the J (or U) nut?

The PO must have taken the van jousting. There’s a dent below the replaced right corner lamp. The headlight header frame is broken where it holds the nut plate for the lower corner lamp screw. A header is $50 but I don’t feel like replacing it. I’m going to try filling the broken header flange with Plastic Weld. It would be nice to fit a nut plate but I could send the lower screw into the filler.

Upper nut plate in place, lower nut plate broken off -

I would go to the junkyard for a new headlight bucket
I don't believe that nut is available separately

I thought about that but am I saving much if a new one is $50? Junkyard one might have cracks or breaks or missing nut plates that I don’t notice until I install it.

The fastener you have circled is pressed into the molded header panel and I've never seen them on any fastener/clip/retainer site I've visited. While its not the most fun job replacing the header might be the best bet for an overall high quality repair.

That would be my approach but as always YMMV.

Just screw a 90 degree angle bracket onto your broken tab and drill a screw hole in it.
