The PO must have taken the van jousting. There’s a dent below the replaced right corner lamp. The headlight header frame is broken where it holds the nut plate for the lower corner lamp screw. A header is $50 but I don’t feel like replacing it. I’m going to try filling the broken header flange with Plastic Weld. It would be nice to fit a nut plate but I could send the lower screw into the filler.
Upper nut plate in place, lower nut plate broken off -
I thought about that but am I saving much if a new one is $50? Junkyard one might have cracks or breaks or missing nut plates that I don’t notice until I install it.
The fastener you have circled is pressed into the molded header panel and I've never seen them on any fastener/clip/retainer site I've visited. While its not the most fun job replacing the header might be the best bet for an overall high quality repair.
