Hey guys. Working on a 1996 F250. Someone took the factory trailer harness off my truck so i bought a harness from etrailer.com. I'm looking for a hot wire coming off the truck to connect to the black(hot) wire on the etrailer harness. Before I pull a new wire from the battery or fuse block, can anyone tell me what the big red wire and the big white wire are in this photo? I've got all the other stuff connected but I need the hot from the truck and curious about what these two are for. Thanks for your help.
Always start with the easy stuff. I will not be home for a few weeks, but when I am I can snap pics of the EVTM for the wiring.
Thanks. The red wire is hot with the key on. I found a blown 30A fuse under the hood. Still don't know what the big white wire is but i have all the trailer harness connected so i'm good for the moment. Would like to look at the EVTM when you get back. Thanks again.
