5.4 3v Starter click while accelerating
My 2008 f150 5.4 3v has been making a weird noise lately. It started recently when I replaced the starter. Ever since then it’s made a weird clicking noise while accelerating. Could it be a faulty starter interfering with the fly wheel or am I missing a shim that I’m not aware of?

new starter fixed it! Old duralast starter was over engaging.
