Remember These

I was rummaging around the garage today and found some things from back in the day. Some younger people might not remember or identify these things. The first two were a required item when servicing your vehicle. The third one was something you found when servicing a transmission for the first service.

the first one is what our father used to whack us topside the head when he was not wearing a belt.
the second one was used by..........oh nevermind.

oil can puncture/pour spouts, and transmission dipstick plug used during assembly and shipping to keep crud out of trans.

I don't just remember it, I have one! Came with my tire machine. As the marks show, I've used it on more than just hub caps lol.

How about using those oil can spouts on the original oil cans with the cardboard body and steel end caps? Get a little too heavy handed pushing the spout into the can top and the cardboard buckled and barfed oil all over the place.
