I was rummaging around the garage today and found some things from back in the day. Some younger people might not remember or identify these things. The first two were a required item when servicing your vehicle. The third one was something you found when servicing a transmission for the first service.
Yup! Those replaced the glass bottle oil cans (just before my time)! Yes, punched alot of cans with those! and yeah, the plugs found inside the oil pans of the auto trans!
seen one, but never used one. i have had a coates tire machine of one form or another since as long as i can remember. i have a 40-40SA out in the garage the past 20 years..
How about using those oil can spouts on the original oil cans with the cardboard body and steel end caps? Get a little too heavy handed pushing the spout into the can top and the cardboard buckled and barfed oil all over the place.

Oh yeah and on the "cheaper" spouts....the points got dull after just a few punctures!!!!!!
That can is probably worth a fortune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife brought me 3 full ones home from work a few years ago... She worked at AutoZone at the time and someone brought them in to dispose of properly...
