Anyone here ever taken off tanks and rodded/cleaned their own radiator? I was thinking of trying my hand at it. Maybe get some junk radiators to practice with.
I swapped a top tank from a mashed radiator core unto my good core with a split tank once. It worked out I was chewing glass doing it since it was my only vehicle. I had an advantage since we have a regular radiator shop and had been in several times on parts runs and watched them a few times. Probably lots of videos on the tube.

I've watched 7 or 8 different videos already. I don't really have a place to do it right now anyway. Doesn't look super difficult though.
Have to get all the old cleaned out, including side supports, good flux and right solder and torch. Has to be clean and dry as a bone. Let us know how it turns out. I had some experience since I've done some plumbing work with copper (my whole house) and soldering wires for 15 years.
