I had to trim my boot a little, I also heated/warmed it slightly and used dawn soap and it installed easier.

I trimmed mine too much, used dawn soap and wound up slipping and cutting my hands/jamming fingernails on the compressor housing pushing so hard.

Charlie sent me picture of the prototype boot, looks to be built very similar to the oem rubber style.

Got a hydra and put it on today and finally made it into the 20th century tuning. Replaced the ol trusty ts6 that's been. In there for 10 years. lol I just mounted it over the hole for the ts6 ****. I'll be doing a dash swap sometime and mount it better.

Got a cheap set of running boards off Facebook marketplace. Not sure if I'll leave them on or not but I'll give them a go.

Picked this up today for $100. Never been used. 3 row all aluminum radiator. It one of the cheaper ones not no mishimoto $$$. Not sure if I want to try and run it or just resale it. I'll probably atleast give it a try.

If it's a "Champion", many people had great luck with their product, however I was not one of them. Bought one and the cores separated from the tank, they replaced it thru warranty and same thing happened again. They gave me a 100% refund on the original purchase price however I lost every dollar spent for coolant (well over $100.00) + cleaning up the huge mess under the hood two times. Lucky there was no permanent engine damage. I went back to stock rad and that was years ago.......

Before I retired, I owned an auto repair shop and found that the only radiators that last these days are the factory style ones with the plastic end caps. The metal end caps have to deal with so much thermal cycling that they end up cracking. Hot at one end and cold at the other is hard on metal. I would sell that radiator and use the money towards a Motorcraft or equivalent one of good construction. My 23 year old 1999.5 is still running the factory radiator with no signs of failing, yet. (Knock on wood). If it gives up, I'll purchase and install the real deal again.

Weather was nice today so got a little bit done. Swapped in that radiator to give it a try. I'll keep the one I took out for a while and make sure everything is good with it. So far it seems fine in a short drive to get everything hot.

Swapped in a riff raff thermostat housing I've had for a month or 2 I scored off marketplace for $20. Just had to get some bolts for it.

Radiator installed.

Rough Country dual steering stabilizer installed.

Put a 05 front end on it this past weekend. Some new headlights with projectors and separate high low bulbs with led bulbs installed. 20 inch light bar with day time running light built into it in the bumper. Also installed a set of factory cab lights with factory wiring with just led bulbs and smoked lens. Also swapped on a new Motorcraft belt tensioner and threw old one in the toolbox for a spare. Also swapped in some different lights into the headache rack I put on. The have running and brake lights around the outside and centers light up white with reverse.
