Stage 2 Diablo chip

Yup
The chip SHOULD be here tomorrow for sure beyond a shadow of a doubt so that I can install it on Saturday. It shipped out Tuesday morning, so I figured Friday would be the big day. I mapped out my truck today to see where I was going to mount the switch.
Tom, you put your switch on the lower plastic panel correct? Was that very difficult? I figure a drill with a piercing bit will do the trick. The you just put it in right? Anyways, HOPEFULLY you will all have a 6 page report on the chip and how it affects my truck. Keep you friggin' fingers crossed.
p.s. - Actually at one point I thought it was gonna be overnighted but oh well.

Joe,
Yes, I put it here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=28397&width=0
I think this is the best place because this plastic piece comes off in 2 seconds and is very soft for drilling and so forth. Plus, the part is very cheap to replace, so just in case you screw it up, you can probably get this plastic part for 20 bucks. Also, it's out of the way enough where other people won't be playing with it and so forth. And you limited on the length of the switch wire. I think this is the best place. Also, if you decide to add additional switches such as nitrous or fog lights or anything else, this little plastic panel can hold more than 10 switches in a row.
This is the best place for it I think.
