rack and pinion steering
Anything is possible, with enough time, money, and trial and error.
Is it something you can just buy bolt on? No.
The Twin I-Beam or TTB setups do not lend themselves to easy adaptation of a Rack and Pinion setup.

Let's say you stick a rack up in there. How's the geometry gonna work out? Ok, so you gotta have the links basically crisscross themselves in order to get it right. Congratulations, you've just invented the "swingset" that all the desert racers have been using for 40yr.
You'd be better off just building a swingset and using a modern steering box that has less slop to begin with and is 30yr newer to push it around.
