My '94 F-250 was a piece of cake. Just get the ball joint seperator and ball joint press from the auto parts store. Makes it a no brainer. I got mine at Autozone, rented me the tools for free.

Also get a Haynes manual, about 12 bucks.

Good Luck

nope-they came out easy with a little persuasion from a 2 lb sledge
took a 1 minutes to break them loose
use a socket and a hammer-no problem

did you have to pull off the tie rod and radius arm like the haynes manual says? I think it says you have to take the brake caliper and hub off and spindle...is this not necessary?

i don't know how you would remove the spindle without removing all the other parts you mentioned BUT if you are able to-please let me know-this may be a time saver for me

I just hate beating on my truck like that when the tools to do the job are available without charge. You have to go get the parts anyway, why not pick up the tools at the same time. I'd sure hate to damage my spindle or axle.

Just my .02
