The biggest improvement to noise reduction that I ever did to my F350 was change the original slider from 79 out for a new aftermarket unit from CRL.
Even though I didn’t note the original as part of any noise issue, the first moment I started the engine and drove down the street after installing the new window I could immediately tell the difference.
And that was long after insulation and carpet had been installed around the rest of the cab.
