A little window help here please...

Hi Folks,
I was looking at my '53 this afternoon and it seemed to me the back window, (actually the place where it is supposed to be), looked fairly large. I have read about big windows here and it got me to wondering if that applies to my '53 or are all '53s this size. Just a matter of curiosity more than anything else... I'll post a picture and you folks can be the judge here.

Also, does anyone know if rear slider windows are available for the '53?

Later Folks...

Dave-

In your picture that is the standard size rear window for the 53-56 F100s. The 56 also had the wrap around rear window as an option, thus the "big window". Look in fatfenders56 gallery to see how he enlarged his standard window to be bigger and flow more naturally with the door windows. I think the sliders are available from LMC.

Can't answer the slider window question, but I would amagine there should be something out there or at the very least custom build's. I don't think I ever saw a smaller back window in those model year P.U.'s

Thanks...

Thanks guys... When in doubt, always ask the experts.

I don't really want the window any bigger, I was just curious about it.
