Additives Question

Am I correct in understanding that the one downside of additives (where you are attempting to add lubricity to protect the CP4) is that it may accelerate build up in the emissions systems? I'm sure that's over simplified. But if you could add enough lubricity through additives, then the CP4 would last longer. But the additives don't burn up as easily therefore you could have more EGR or other emissions related issues. Is that basically true, or not at all?

Is Seafoam good to use or not? I was running a 5.9L 12-valve cummins in my 1972 F250 high boy

BIG NO on the seafoam. It has alcohol. Don't be-leave everything you read on the bottle.
