Brake dust problem
Just bought a 2000 F-150 and have the worst brake dust problem I have ever seen. Within a few days of driving, right front wheel is brown and left front is starting to brown with dust. This stuff covers the tires too.
Rotors look like they have some grooves and I am going to have them turned and put new pads on them. Any ideas for pads that will keep dust at a lower level?

Unfortunately brake pads now days (since they no longer contain asbestos) are prone to brake dust, especially the cheapo pads ford likes to use.
You can go with some ceramic stlye pads....and they are generally better, but be prepared for acelerated rotor wear.
I would invest in a good mid price range pad (I prefer napa, Raybestos or Warner) and keep your rims well waxed.
Generally speaking the higher the price tag....the less brake dust.
