Speedo Cable Issues
I need your help people. I have a 4 speed transmission and the speedo cable has spun off 3 times at the transmission end. I've tried to not put any sharp bends into it so I'm not quite sure why it keeps happening.
Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated.

Are you working with reproductions? Does it get proper lubrication prior to installation?

Great question. I'm assuming they are reproductions and as far as lubricating, I did not add and additional lubrication, only what it came with.

Would graphite, used in locks, be good as lubrication?
