I have a 2004 E350 with 6.0 diesel. The y pipe from the coolant degas bottle to the engine is leaking and I need to find a replacement for the plastic y pipe section. I know the F series and the E series on this is different. Does anyone know the part number for that hose or can I separate the rubber hose on the y pipe section and install a metal y pipe and just keep the hose?

 

You can splice a temporary fitting out of copper plumbing pipe onto the rubber until you get the right part ....or just keep the copper
