It's been a long road starting with my fuel pumps some of you may have seen. I said I would post this at some point. So here it is. About a year ago I had some time off work and tore in. I had the tcase, transmission and engine out. The blower went on a summit rebuild. I was skeptical of this route and have plans for another motor. This let me minimize the downtime though. The transmission got the Sonnax 3rd gear drum. The stock torque converter got cut into, fully brazed, and "tightened up" a little. I put a couple thousand miles on the engine in bone stock form minus cooling mods. I wanted to prove this setup for a while before the abuse came. I had lots of "fun" getting the blower in and hooked up properly.
BEEFY
This is the mishimoto foxbody oil cooler kit. I was able to modify their bracket and mount the cooler in front of the radiator without drilling any holes. If you're dying for the details on this, message me direct.
She got a serious bath.
Missing a little plumbing here and the BBK throttle body isn't on yet. Basically just a driver before I make it pretty. Flexalite setup
It's off at the tuner now. I did some driving around pig rich to make sure it would all hold together. I also wanted to verify my cooling. I love the fans and there's no way the oil cooler doesn't help. Let the questions fly.
Found it complete (and I mean everything) on craigslist for $2000. It was down the street, and I was there with cash 6 hours after it posted. I'm not going for the most power for the least money. I'm expecting a much less demanding gas pedal and the cool factor for the guys (and AuroraGirl) that know what it is. During the rebuild phase, I was talked into a 2.0l assembly. I have it underdriven and it's making 7-8psi. At some point it's probably going to make that on top of a good breathing 351, so the bigger rotors and body made sense.

I'm a suc-r for Buick T-type/grand national, any of them in those years, Buddy had Silver T-type that could hike the drivers tire up and over a beer can, with just drag radials on, just wicked sounding, taking off.
