need help with my 86 e 150.
I am haveing fuel problems with my 86 E 150 no fuel to the injector ireplaced the fuel pump but still no fuel i have also checked to see if any power was getting to the pump and it was not could someone please give me some idea on what i am over looking

Make sure that your fuel filter is not plugged,I would also check if there is even gas pumping from the tank,(if none possible fuel pickup tube is broke or the fuel tank selector is not switching)make sure you can hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the key on.

Check to see if there is power delivered to and from the selenoids that energize the fuel pumps. There are two of those located on the passenger side side-wall as you open the hood.
If there is power to the selenoids and no power out from them then replace the faulty one. They can corrode and /or wear out.
If there is no power to the selenoids, check for a broken supply wire. In mine it was a broken wire that got jammed (while still in the harness) underneeth the inside engine cover and some bracket for the injectors.
I found the broken wire after I had taken the gas tank out looking for a broken fuel pump which of course was working just fine.

Thanks Guys it was the impact switch,I do,nt know what could have coused it to shut down but no matter it is fixed and i must say THANKS very much for the great help from you ALL.
