help
Hi my husband has a 1983 ford 1/2 ton pick up truck 2 wheel drive 4.9 with a staright 6 in it. he needs to know what month the truck was manufactured. Can anyone please help us out thank you very much.

on the frame for the driver side door, either above or below the latch post for the door is a white sticker, most likely with blue and black print on it...there will be a month and year printed on this (for example, my truck's manufacture date is 11/83, making it a 1984 model year...yours will read "month/82"), at the top of the sticker...the sticker sits sideways on the frame (i.e. the left "side" of the sticker is on the bottom, and the right side is on the top)...hope this helps...should be pretty easy...

Hi thanks for the information the sticker isnt on the door it wore off thats why i needed the information. He has to replace a bushing but we are not sure what the name of the bushing is. We were told it could be the radius bushing or the arm pivot bushing. Thanks again for the information. Have a nice day.
