Fan Shroud

Hi all, I'm in need of a fan shroud for my '95 F-150 with the I6, no A/C.
Before I go looking at parts trucks, are there any interchangeable shrouds or do I need a specific one to the '92-'96 with the I6

Thanks

Is it a complete shroud or just a sort of guard/cover at the top of the radiator core?

I don't actually know, it's been missing since I got the truck.
I haven't been able to find much info online about it either.

E7TZ-8A611-A is the listed shroud for the application. Looks like more of a guard than a shroud. Looks like it was used from 87 to 96.

F5TZ-8146-ABA was for AC and/or automatic transmission. Full shroud. You could probably use one, have more efficient cooling.

I think if you are looking at used parts most any truck/bronco 87-96 4.9 shroud will work.

Can OP show us his water pump/fan/ engine? I have not seen a i6 without AC and am curious. #6 is what I have, a full shroud. I suspect the number provided before is what that is

AC. M5OD. That is the dual core rad, my fan is that seven blade from the super cooling package or tow package. Obviously fan not on as I am fighting a belt walk issue.

This had the five blade trash on when acquired. It may also explain no shroud...but then again it had a 302 upper rad hose. 🤣

is the tensioner OE? Looks like your tensioner is due for replacement. Have you ever had issues with the belt breaking down on the "tread" , if so, look at your crank pulley and take a scribe to the grooves in an area. if you can dig out belt, I had the same issue.

Im not kidding when I say that the belt material put itself DEEP into thhe grooves and very well packed in too. I simply was STUNNED by how much the grooves were filled in with belt, and it appeared normal on observation. The black belt material masked the fact the grooves were over half filled in on each pulley almost.

The best tool I found was a stiff welding wire brush (I assume welding) that would be useful for clearing slag and stuff. The pulleys I had to go in the direction of rotation and reverse frequently to actually get under. If I had a scribe that I could find, In sure that would have sped it up. Took a long time. I also had to bump the engine over since doing it from below meant things falling in face and not the best reach

I will start a new thread for my belt issue, I have a new Motorcrap tensioner in that pic on the valve cover. And my 3G is laying off to the side.
