5L3T-AA relay
5L3T-AA relay
Hi there!
I am new to the forum and have a question about 5L3T-AA relay taken out from Ford 500 car. There were three relays in the fuse box (in engine compartment). My A/C clutch was not working so i exchanged AC relay with the other one (next to AC relay of same number and shape, which was starter relay) and ended up messing with the car starter. If i get new relay can i get my car working. I messed up and now looking for advice, Also please tell whether these relays can be inserted in either direction? (like do i have to take care of the polarity?) As i dont remember now which direction was the original direction of the relay. when i check relay with multimeter its giving me 0 on two terminals (diagonally) and 133 ohms on two terminalys (diagonally). Thanks

You can plug it in either way and it'll work, but usually just matching orientation on all the letters on the label orientation with the other relays is how you'd want it, for OCD purposes.
