Tools for replacing Kingpins
Good evening folks,
I need to rehab my front axle king pins and was curious what if any special tools I need to buy?
Looking at a kit like this one below. Truck is my '52 Merc M1. Drivers side has quite a bit of slop in it.

Oh, and is there a procedure? I do have one of the original red paper manuals that came with the truck, but haven't check it yet (I'm not at home at the moment, but want to start ordering some parts).

Here is a great thread on removing them using a loaner tool, the upper control arm kit.

I used this technique to remove my king pins. It still wasn't easy, but 100 times easier than any other method.
