Does anyone know the results of covering the receiver dryer in insulating foam? In my quest to get better comfort of my truck, I thought about getting the a/c system cooler.
I noticed my receiver/dryer is uninsulated while the low pressure hose is insulated. Does anyone know the effects of insulating the receiver dryer?
Stevie on YouTube insulated the HVAC airbox. I'm specifically asking about the receiver/dryer. The arizona-ice-tea-shaped- can directly in front of the airbox.
Poke head under a GMT800. Both my 01s (Z71 and Burb) are insulated.
Does it make a difference? Got me. System will still cycle on these around 40psi.
I doubt it does much.

Try it and report back with the before and after results.
